Well this almost confirms that we are going to see anohter filler story. The next arc is supposedly the Hokage Meet arc. That is where we meet the other Kages. Previsouly we only get to see the Hokage and little of the Kazekage. Now we see the Tsuchikage, the Mizukage and the Raikage. They hold a meeting on the Samurai country.
Sasuke attacks that meeting. This is because Tobi wants to see how strong Sasuke is. Sasuke is still not ready though. He was torn apart by Raikage. Gaara had to help Sasuke. And ultimately Tobi went to the rescue.
But it looks like we wont be seeing these events because of the filler arc on the latest anime episodes.
